Thomson Reuters to Integrate SciELO Citation into Web of Knowledge

The Intellectual Property & Science business of Thomson Reuters announced a collaboration with Scientific Electronic Library Online (SciELO) to integrate the SciELO Citation Index into the Web of Knowledge^SM.

The SciELO Citation Index will include approximately 650 titles and more than 4 million cited references from Open Access journals from Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Cuba, Mexico, Portugal, South Africa, Spain and Venezuela. The addition of SciELO to Web of Knowledge will follow a similar model to that of the Chinese Science Citation Database, which has been hosted within the Web of Knowledge since 2008, and the planned 2014 launch of a journal database featuring Korean scholarly literature.
