Emerald Acquires Two New International Business Titles

UNITED KINGDOM, 26 April 2007 - Emerald Group Publishing Limited is pleased to announce the acquisition of two new journals to complement its existing international business titles: Competitiveness Review: An International Business Journal and International Journal of Commerce and Management.  Emerald has also acquired Journal of Global Competitiveness which will be merged into Competitiveness Review to combine the strengths of the two titles.  The titles in the international business portfolio appeal to academics, researchers and practitioners in international trade, international business and business professionals from a wide range of industries.

Cathy Mostyn, Emerald's Business Development Director explains, "Emerald is one of the leading journal publishers in the management field and celebrates 40 years of publishing this year. We are constantly seeking to enrich our management portfolio and acquired seven titles in 2006, and will launch eight new journals in 2007."
