Finding archived posts

With our June 2006 switch to WordPress, we’ve had the challenge of helping users locate archived posts. We’re delighted (and relieved!) that our entire archive (more than 7800 posts) made the switch. If you are looking for an old favorite, follow these steps:

• When you come across a url that doesn’t work (aka a 404 page) simply replace the opening portion of the url with:http://www.resourceshelf.co.uk[specific post.html]

• NOTE THE CHANGE in the end of the URL to http://resourceshelf.co.uk[specific post.html]

• For example:

  http://www.resourceshelf.com/2001/03/canadian-content-roundup-government.html

  becomes:

  http://www.resourceshelf.CO.UK/2001/03/canadian-content-roundup-government.html

It’s that easy.
