Review an MIT Class with OpenCourseware: Special Topics: Designing Sociable Media

One thing we hope to do more of in 2010 is provide links and info about relevant courses (most likely outside of librarianship) that might be of interest. Since they will be part of a university’s OpenCourseWare program, access to all of the materials will be free. In many cases, the reading list might be of greatest use in other cases it might be a project.

We’ll start today with a class from MIT: MAS.961 Special Topics: Designing Sociable Media (as taught in the Spring, 2008).

The readings can be accessed in the assignments section of the course. In some cases, the readings are available “on the web.” However, in many cases you’ll have to make use of your libraries electronic and print collections. ILL, too.
