Searching for a Librarian Job? Head to Montana

If you’re looking for a librarian position, working in beautiful Montana is always an option.

From an Article:

The Montana State Library is working to change that and get more people interested in pursuing a master’s degree in library science.

The state library is currently running a media campaign promoting librarianship as a career. In past years the Montana State Library has also offered scholarships for Montanans pursuing library graduate degrees.

“I think there’s a shortage of professionally trained librarians,” said Sue Jackson, library development director at the Montana State Library. “Lots of libraries aren’t able to hire librarians with master’s degrees.”
