Paper: International Study on Copyright and Digital Preservation

This paper given at iPRES 2008 (British Library Conference Centre, 29-30 Sept. 2008) provides an overview of the International Study on Copyright Law on Digital Preservation which reviewed digital preservation activities and the current state of copyright laws and their impact in Australia, the Netherlands, the United Kingdom and the United States. The study partners were the Open Access to Knowledge Law Project, Queensland University of Technology, (Australia), the SurfFoundation (the Netherlands), the Joint Information Systems Committee (UK) and the Library of Congress (US).
