One of the first social bookmarking sites, Furl.net is no more. The site and service is gone but the good news is that if you register for Diigo, a fairly new (beta) online research site, you can import your saved bookmarks and annotations to the service. You’ll need to have a Diigo account but getting one (assuming you have a Furl account) is automated and a very simple task. Prior to Diigo, Furl was a part of Looksmart.
