Dow Jones & Co. bought a database of European private firms, expanding its research offerings on companies that are backed by venture-capital and private-equity investors.
Dow Jones bought Library House out of administration. Library House’s data assets will become part of Dow Jones VentureSource, which offers research on venture capital investments.
The acquisition price wasn’t disclosed.
