Librarian Crowned Couch Potato King…again

He’s the Ultimate Couch Potato: Stan Friedman wins 2nd straight title

He’s the flat-on-his-back-to-back champion.

Stan Friedman captured his second straight title Friday in the Ultimate Couch Potato Competition, spending nearly 19 hours reclining in front of the TV.

Friedman, 47, a research librarian for Conde Nast, outlasted three challengers to defend his crown at the second annual showdown in the ESPN Zone.

The Manhattan resident spent a laid back 18 hours, 48 minutes and 18 seconds in a recliner facing dozens of televisions inside the Times Square restaurant.
