New: Online Job Board Uses Web 2.0 Features To Link Employers, Job Seekers

From the IW article:

Jobfox, an online job board, has launched a feature that matches job candidates with employers who have openings that suit the candidates.

The feature, called Jobfox Intros, provides job-seekers with a virtual “foot in the door,” so they can network with employers and obtain interviews.

“With Jobfox Intros, high-match job seekers are immediately moved to the top of the resumé stack,” Rob McGovern, CEO of Jobfox, said in a statement. “Rather than submitting resumés into a black hole, qualified candidates are personally introduced by Jobfox, so they can skip directly to the interviewing step. Candidates want connections with highly matched employers, not just long lists of undifferentiated jobs. Jobfox is the only site that gives them this capability.”
