Libraries become hip

Believe it or not, it was once feared that the public library system would be snuffed out by the Internet age.

That is far from the truth as libraries have smartly rolled with the new advances in technology to offer fresh programs that appeal to young and old alike.

“It’s important for the library to offer programs and services to all ages to keep the community interested and for the library to remain relevant. Just doing that is a good use of tax dollars,” said Coshocton Public Library young adult librarian RoseMary Honnold.
