Would Google (OR OTHER ENGINES ie: Exalead, Live.com, etc.) consider adding a box so local library OPACs could be searched directly from a web results page? No, then how about a link to the Worldcat.org database? Remember, we’re talking about Web Result Pages NOT Google Book Search results pages. Or, will Google (most likely) offer a link and box to search Google’s Book database thereby causing the user several more clicks to find out if there library has the item. All of this equals more and don’t forget that one of the Five Laws of Library Science is to “Save the time of the reader.”
