School Library Standards Wiki from AASL: 21st Century Learner

Thanks to Barbara J. for this post on LM_Net.

Launched at its annual conference in October, AASL’s new standards are not our mother’s information skills objectives.

These sophisticated standards will help ensure that our students enter college and the workplace with the skills and attitudes to succeed. Interpreting a few of the standards may prove somewhat of a challenge. Let’s work together to suggest explanations, strategies, links, tools, and anything else to help us integrate the standards into our students’ course of study and extracurricular lives. I have set up a wiki so that we can do just that. Study the standards and see what you can add to help others connect and use them successfully. The wiki is available http://21stcenturylearner.pbwiki.com/.
(If you are editing, the password is learner. Also, you you may need to click on the sidebar tab to see all the standards links).
