Statistics: Europe: Trade in high-tech products

This issue of Statistics in Focus presents a detailed analysis of the trade in high-tech products, concentrating mainly on world market share aspects. In 2005, the EU was the world leader in trade in high-tech products, closely followed by the United States. However, China’s share of world trade has grown rapidly and, after having overtaken Japan, it is now catching up with the EU and the United States.
