Personalize: Add Your Own “Skin” to Ask.com’s Home Page

Ask.com info to follow, remember that Gary is Director of Online Info Resources at Ask.

One of the many features that make up Ask.com’s service are “skins” that allows users to change the background of the home page.

From a serene sunset, to polka dots, to a forest. Today, Ask has added a new feature that allows a searcher to select many more skins (see this page) OR upload or link to an image and make it a skin or what some might call Ask desktop wallpapepr. Perfect (and fun!) for schools, libraries, and other organizations. Look for the “skin” links directly below the search box. Our favorite new skin is titlted, “tags.”

Much more in this blog post from Ask.com’s Erik Collier.

UPDATE: We love our aircraft! Here’s a Ask skin (screen cap) we created in about 5 minutes showing the cockpit of the new A380 aircraft.
