This post tells us of a new service from the UK where a freelance journalist is aggregating interviews he finds on the web with journalists. The site is named AccessInterviews.com.
Rob McGibbon, a freelance journalist in the UK, has launched a website, AccessInterviews.com, that aims to offer a comprehensive collection of journalistic interviews. If successful, this site will certainly become an invaluable resource for all journalists — and readers.
It reminds us a bit of the work we’re doing on DocuTicker.com where we find and aggregate primary documents from governments, ngo’s, think tanks and other organizations. It also reminds us of what’s going on at DiplomacyMonitor.com.

Btw, many “traditional” full text databases that are AVAILABLE at NO CHARGE WITHOUT (24×7x365) having to visit the library offer a field where the searcher can limit to interviews, profiles, etc. from thousands of publications. Again, all for free.
Simply contact your local libraries to get a card number and documentation. Other fee-based databases that are available via credit card like Factiva, LexisNexis, and Dialog also often have searchable fields where you can limit to specific types of articles including interviews.
