Mobile: AOL Launches Mobile Portal in the UK
In addition to pulling sports, news and entertainment content directly from AOL.co.uk, all of it configured to the individual user handset, the AOL Mobile portal includes features like Web Surf, Mail and Search. The service stores user favorites and recent requests, with tabbed navigation and intuitive menus enabling users to scroll through the applications and content with a minimum number of clicks. According to AOL, the range of mobile channels and portal services will expand as the company further integrates its online and mobile web portals.
