Google has just filed for the trademark on the term “Android” (hardware and software). It was filed on October 31, 2007 and you can track the latest updates here.

The term (with artwork) APNT which was registered by Yahoo was recently filed for opposition.
Advertising services, namely, providing a website for the management of online advertising campaigns for others; providing advertising information via a website.
