Climate and Tourism Information Exchange Service

The World Tourism Organization has created an information gathering web resource called Climate and Tourism Information Exchange Service, which displays data, studies, policy papers, videos and other materials as part of its effort to combat climate change. Registration (free) is required. The organization has spearheaded the study of linkages between climate and tourism, having convened the first-ever International Conference on Climate Change and Tourism in Tunisia (Web site) in 2003. The second Conference (Web site) will be held in Davos, Switzerland, in October.
