Real Time Info: TrafficLand’s New Traffic Widget, Easily Embed Traffic Cam Images Just About Anywhere

They aggregate LIVE traffic cameras for cities/metro areas in Australia, Canada, Denmark, New Zealand, UK, U.S. Over 4000 cameras.

New from TrafficLand is a tool that allows the user to access code to quickly embed live traffic imagery on a web page, blog, etc.

The image that’s visible in the “widget box” does not auto-refresh. You can refresh the page yourself. However, a link to access a live image (images refresh at different rates depending on location) can be found available directly below the widget image box.

Here’s an example of a page we built with the widget coder with cameras from NYC and New Orleans.

Update: TrafficLand is a powerful tool. However, they offer just the tip of the traffic cam iceberg. Many more live feeds from various cities and states are available. We’ve listed many in the Real-Time and Web Cam collections.
