+ In what the company is calling a pre-alpha (aka “it’s definitely not perfect”), we’ve learned that meebo (the web-based IM service) that provides free, one-stop access to all of the major IM services (with nothing to download) is now iPhone friendly. meebo is one very useful service but one thing the RS team has wondered for a long time is why no mobile version(s) for users of other phones and devices like Treo’s and Blackberry’s? Hopefully, versions for other mobile phones and devices will be coming soon. It will be very welcomed. meebo itself is a “must have” resource for libraries who are doing virtual reference (see post below about Meebome Widget (Alpha)
