Don’t Forget…from the UPI article:

EBay also owns close to a 25 percent stake in Craigslist, which it bought from a former Craigslist employee in 2004, the Journal said.

The Kijiji site, available in 220 cities in all 50 states, includes sections such as “for sale,” “housing,” “jobs” and “personals,” a UPI perusal found. For now, anyone may post an ad for free, but spokesman Hani Durzy told the Journal eBay may later charge for display ads or premium services for sellers. Kijiji — which means “village” in Swahili — was launched in March 2005 and has been available in more than 300 German cities, as well as in France, Italy, Canada, India, Taiwan and Japan. Craigslist was founded by San Francisco resident Craig Newmark in 1995 and is now in more than 450 cities worldwide.
