Real Time Info: Global Piracy Map
As ResourceShelf continues to develop a large collection of web accessible real-time or near real-time information tools (see this category), we are trying to leave no stone unturned. This time we’ve added a “live” piracy map from the International Chamber of Commerce Maritime Bureau. The information is added as soon as it become available to a Google Map. Click each “pin” for details. Piracy attacks for 2006 and 2005 are also accessible on the map.

In addition to the map, the ICC Maritime Bureau publishes the text-based Weekly Piracy Report. Piracy Alerts can be accessed here. Maps from 2001-2006 can be found at the bottom of this page. Other reports can be ordered via mail
