This statement is meant to cover certain descriptive aspects (GMD, physical description, and notes) associated with recent and emerging sound recording formats. As new formats are cataloged at the Library of Congress, they will be incorporated into this list. The guidelines are meant to aid Library of Congress catalogers and are meant to reflect only Library of Congress practice.
