MyFeedz.com, A Personalized Feed Reader, Officially Released on Adobe Labs Site
The MyFeedz service is not new. It was first released as a public beta by InterAKT last August. A month later, InterAKT was acquired by Adobe.
On Friday, for the first time, it was released as a technology preview on the Adobe Labs site. The rebranding with the Adobe name is also new today. Much more about the service in the MyFeedz Development Blog and FAQ.
MyFeedz.com describes itself as a “social newspaper. It reminds us (on the surface aka quick review) to Findory and digg/digg “like” services.
It learns from what you like and helps you keep up with your interests.
From the MyFeedz site:
* Import RSS feeds of your favorite websites or from your favorite RSS reader.
* Browse articles by tags
* Read, rate and tag [your tags or system wide tags] articles.
* Find out the popular stories of the moment.
* Save articles for later reading.
* Search new articles.
* Export RSS feeds for your topics of interest.
Also:
* Advanced sorting features found on the top-right of pages.
* Add or remove feeds from your profile.
* Sort articles by relevance or by date.
* Mark articles as “off-topic” if it’s not of interest.
* Some Boolean connectors available
