Understanding Nuclear and Radiological Terrorism
Speaker: Dr. Charles Ferguson, Council on Foreign Relations
Dr. Ferguson is an internationally recognized authority on nuclear nonproliferation and security. At the Council on Foreign Relations, he focuses on issues involving Iran and North Korea, nuclear energy, and the prevention of nuclear and radiological terrorism. He recently co-authored the book The Four Faces of Nuclear Terrorism (Routledge, 2005) and was lead author of the report Commercial Radioactive Sources: Surveying the Security Risks, which assessed the threat of radiological dispersal devices such as dirty bombs
