Lycos joins the year-end list frenzy with the year-end Lycos 50.

The number in parenthesis shows where the term placed on last year’s list. Worth noting that a directional queries, “MySpace” debuts at #2 and RuneScape (an online game) at #3. In other words, first searching Lycos for a link to a specific web site.
