Librarians might call them virtual ready reference shelves. You can also search “elections xxx (state name) to go direct to the state page. Example: election California.
UPDATE: By the time election night rolls around Ask.com will offer direct links to many county sites for up to the minute (and we mean, minute) elections info and returns.
