Companies that monitor chat rooms, blogs, etc. for Wall Street. A company not mentioned (and free) doing this type of work (we’ve mentioned them on ResourceShelf before) is SeekingAlpha.com. Bloglines also has a public compilation of sources that SeekingAlpha monitors. Btw, what News.com writes about is NOT a new idea. In 2001, we blogged about NetCurrents (2nd item) and their patent on this type of technology.
