UK: New Database: Commission launches web health check

The Healthcare Commission has given the public a means of checking details of their local trusts’ performance online

It has created a new section of its website devoted to annual “health check” ratings on trusts. This enables users to see how their organisations are doing in comparison with the rest of England and how the NHS is performing as a whole.

The spokesperson added that the detail is more comprehensive than the star ratings for trusts.

The site carries about 70,000 categories of information and about 500,000 data entries.
