The European Commission has published a synthesis of the responses to the consultation on their “Study on the economic and technical evolution of the scientific publication markets in Europeâ€. The synthesis notes that ‘There is significant support for the recommendation that public access to the results of publicly-funded scientific research should be guaranteed.’ Individual responses, included that from SPARC Europe, have also been made available.
