Prior to this change a user could enter a url into the Google search box and get a set of links to info about the page. That service is now gone according to SER. Now, a user sees regular web results. If you or a user wants to see the info that once was listed. It is available but you will need syntax. Compare: Chicago Cubs to info:Chicago Cubs. SER also points out how this search works on other engines. Of course, a great tool to use for page/site info is Michael Fagan’s, URLInfo. A must for your web search toolbox.
