Image Tagging and Bench Indexes? Another Busy Week for New Google Domain Name Registrations
In recent weeks Google has been registering large numbers of domains. Last week they registered several domains. For example, Google-Test.com. Meaning? TBD. Garett Rogers had a guess or two. This week one might guess (only a guess) that some type of image tagging tool is coming down the pike. We also have registrations for terms like indexbench. Perhaps (total guess) some type of internal benchmarking site? Stay tuned.
On Tuesday, Google registered the following domains:
+ bench-index.com (and .org, .info)
+ benchindex.com (and .org, .info)
+ Index-bench.com (and .org, .info)
+ indexbench.com (and .org, .info, .net)
They also registered:
+ google-imagetagger.com (and .org, .net)
+ googleimagetagger.com (and .org, .net)
+ imagetagger-google.com (and .org, .net)
+ imagetagger.org
Note: imagetagger.com is registered to someone in Albany, New York
imagetagger.net registered to someone in Broolyn, New York
+ imagetaggergoogle.com (and .org, .net)
Again, commentary from Rogers.

GoogleArchives.com is one of the domains. Garett’s guesses as to what this MIGHT and we mean might mean? [...]
