Real-Time Information #10: TrafficLand Continues Expansion, This Time in Canada and the UK

TrafficLand is a free service that has been available in the DC area for several years. If the site sounds famililar, we’ve mentioned this company several times on ResourceShelf and Gary has mentioned it during many live presentations.
TrafficLand does a great job of aggregating live traffic cameras (and viewing multiple cameras simultaneously) from throughout the DC area. In fact, TrafficLand (DC version) also offers AirVideo that allows you to view live cameras on your SmartPhone. In recent months, TrafficLand has expanded to include traffic cam services for several more cities including NYC. Remember, TrafficLand is one of several services that offer traffic cams and we will feature others in future postings. What makes TrafficLand very impressive is the clean organization and the ability to view multiple cameras at the same time.
