Intellext is developing a version of its Watson search engine for the intelligence community after receiving a homeland security grant for $100,000…The Chicago-based company said Friday it plans to use the funds to hire five to seven developers over the next two years who will help create a version of its software to automatically retrieve information from government databases, such as terrorist watch lists, when law enforcement personnel are entering the names of suspects.
