Advanced Tables from the 2006 Edition of State and Metropolitan Area Data Book from US Census Now Available

More than 3-in-4 people in Nevada in 2003 were born outside the state, while nearly 8-in-10 Louisiana residents were born in that state, according to the 2006 edition of the U.S. Census Bureau’s State and Metropolitan Area Data Book…More information, including ranking tables, will be made available in both Internet and printed versions of the book later this summer. In addition to information for the states, the data released on the Internet chronicles metropolitan area information, such as Atlanta’s ascent from 11th to ninth place as the nation’s most populous metro area between 2000 and 2005.
