NoodleBib 3.0 (Beta)
When Chris Sherman and I were preparing the bibliography for our book we utilized an easy to learn web-based bibliography formatting tool called NoodleBibs. It worked very well. Today, news that NoodleBibs has just placed a beta of Version 3.0 online. What’s more exciting is that the beta is FREE for everyone (no need to subscribe) until the end of August. It’s a great way to see if NoodleBib’s is right for you. According to Debbi Abilock, NoodleBib’s co-founder and librarian, the new version now offers the ability to format bibliographies in APA and MLA styles. Previously, only MLA style was available. Version 3.0 also allows for unlimited source lists and provides a new dynamic menu structure where all options are only a single click away. Once on the NoodleTools site, where you’ll log-in to NoodleBibs, take note of the many other services, several of them free, the site offers.
