Google requires posters to have a valid email address, so “andrew@no-spam-we’re-British-dot-theregister-dot-co-dot-uk” won’t cut it. Users are encouraged to employ an anonymous account instead, and helpfully provides a list.”

SIRSI Acquires DRA

From the article, “The privately held SIRSI Holdings Corp. announced May 17 that it will buy Data Research Associates (DRA) for $11.00 per share in cash, or about $51.5 million. By acquiring DRA, SIRSI effectively doubles its customer base. The combined company would be the No. 2 vendor in the library automation industry, based on number of installed systems.”
